LOST IN A SEA OF FLOWERS

I want to walk through a meadow of flowers,

breathing in the sweet taunting fragrance.

I want to let my hair down to fly free

as the warm breeze tickles my hot skin.

I want to lie down on the soft yellow pillows,

my face to the sun looking down from above.

I want to be lost in the sea of flowers,

Where no one will ever find me again.

UNTIL THE MORNING LIGHT

The moon shows its head.

It’s past time for bed.

It casts a yellow glow.

I can hear the winds blow.

Time for me to go inside.

There must be places to hide.

Until the morning light.

When the sun burns so bright.

A flower is a perfect spot.

The yellow looks scrumptious to me. 

Pink flowers will be my next stop.

I’m happy as a buzzing bee.

Spreading joy through the leafy green.

Nectar to my toes through my nose.

Stopping here and there in between.

Sharing everywhere like a hose.

A forest so green and pure,

I want to be there for sure.

Colors to brighten life

without a bit of strife.

This is definitely the place for me,

where I can be as free as I can be.

Pink and yellow flowers fill up the day.

No where prettier I can safely say.
