The perfect house.
Perfectly kept furniture.
Each room empty.
Each a period in history.
No people to sit on the chairs.
No people to dance in the ballroom.
Where is everyone?
Who watches the house?
Who keeps everything so perfect?
Visit the deserted mansion.
And find out.

You destroyed me.
Now I have come back to destroy you.
The Dead are with me.
We want our revenge.
We have come home to claim it.
Wind, waves, storm, lightning, thunder…
Will follow us into town.
Beware Oasis!
I’m back!

are you-stillawake

The mist follows close at my heels,
Relentless in its pursuit of me.
Tall trees block my escape from this forest,
Trapping the sunlight amidst their leaves.
A trap waits for me at every turn,
Poison ivy and open holes among the lot.
I refuse to be trapped by the evil one,
The one who desires me most of all.
I will break free from his unearthly grasp,
His icy grip clutching me too close.
He might be the leader of The Dead,
But he will never be my mate for life.
I must make a run for it now,
For any later will be too late.

Welcome to Oasis, Florida.
A seaside town with white-sanded beaches.
Lush greenery.
Breath-taking sunsets.
After the sun sets,
Dark shadows appear.
The winds moan.
Fog rolls in.
Palm trees bow in the wind.
The streets are hushed.
A body hangs from a noose
In the pretty gazebo.
Rain slashes against the boardwalk.
Who dares to walk the streets of Oasis?
Only The Dead know.

Row Your Boat

Take out a boat and row.
Row as far as you can.
As fast as you can.
To a place of fantasies.
A place where nothing is what it seems.
Where anything is possible.
Take a chance.

The improbable might become the possible.

The gates stand open.
Waiting for visitors.
The yard is overgrown.
No signs of life.
No movement.
The trees droop.
The house might look deserted,
but it does have inhabitants.
Not ordinary inhabitants of a town.
but ones who only come out at night.
Come in.
Join the fun and games.

The storm is approaching the shore.
Dampness fills the air.
Mist sprays my face.
Strands of hair lift in the wind.
Thunder rumbles in the distance.
Flashes of light cross the darkening sky.
I can feel it.
I can smell it.
I can almost taste it.

Waves crashing to shore.
I want more and more.
The mist in my face
Keeps me in this place.
The tides dare to peak,
Lulling me to sleep.
This is my spot for now.
Waves, I refuse to bow.
I stand strong on the rocks,
Time passes on the clocks.
Deserted house I might be,
But I stand alone and free.

If you like action-packed, heart-stopping thrillers blended with supernatural elements, then, this is the book for you. The author’s vivid imagination and her captivating way of narrating this unique story kept me reading way into the night—of course, with the lights on and ready to flee in case someone or…something jumped out of the pages like those creatures in the book, jumping out of the walls at End House.
I liked Linda Bennett, the heroine, and I’m in love with Todd, the hero. He has almost replaced Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries in my heart.
And what can I say about the ending? Wow!
I think this book would make a great movie.

A touch of passion
12 best-selling authors in one boxed set. Passion, romance, adventure, and so much more.

Uvi Poznansky
Announcing a new boxed set:
A Touch of Passion
Lately, despite being an intensely private person, I have found myself increasingly engaged with readers and listeners. Why? because of my characters. Having sprung from my mind onto the page, they might shrivel and die there, pressed between the front and back covers–unless I make it possible for them to spring from the page to your mind.
I thrive on reaching out to my audience. Every day I discover new ways to create this connection and strengthen it. By far the best way is forging alliances with other authors, whose work is of outstanding quality and whose audience appreciates creativity.
To this end I review fellow authors on my blog, which is my way of recognizing their talent. I organize author events on Facebook to showcase our work. I read a lot of novels, note their reviews, and actively seek out book recommendations, all of which allows me to choose the best and the brightest authors, with whom I can forge alliances.
At the beginning of January, we created a new boxed set, containing 12 full-length romance novels. Celebrating excellence in writing, this collection invites you to explore the many flavors of romance. It is titled A Touch of Passion.
Imagine it as an assortment of chocolates. Relish the work of the author you enjoy, and then taste new, unfamiliar flavors. The more you take in, the more you’ll feel the awakening of your senses as well as your appetite.
Lose yourself in a touch of passion. Whether it’s the beauty in a song or the magic of a kiss, the agony of heartbreak or the hunger of yearning, explore ecstasy and desire in these captivating full-length novels. Written by twelve bestselling, multiple award-winning, USA Today and NY Times authors, this boxed set has it all: Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, New Adult Romance, Romantic Suspense, Victorian Romance, Western and Literary Fiction. They were huddled in the church, being attacked on all sides. Supernatural creatures were threatening to take over their town. How could they escape this last round of horrors?
The whole building rumbled and shook. Oh no! Lightning hit the building. Mike watched the ceiling  crumble and bricks fall from the walls onto the ground. A strange sound hummed from the outside, becoming louder and louder. He could hear distinct flapping noises. The tall windows around the room abruptly shattered.
Swarms of flying creatures crashed through the glass. They were circling above them. They were big, black, and furry. Oh, God! Mike shivered. They were bats. No, something was off about them. They were much too big to be bats.
The creatures swooped down at them. They had human faces. Human faces on big furry bodies. It was as if the gates of hell had opened up and released the worst creatures into their world. They continued to fly down at them, over and over again, with their sharp claws extended, grabbing at them.
“Run! I’ll vanquish her again!” the Father called out.
Mike grimaced. We are all doomed if we have to rely on the Father and his unreliable spells.

The stairs are slippery.
The lights flicker.
All goes dark.
The door behind us slams shut.
It’s locked.
There’s no place to go but down.
Down to the basement of End House.
The deserted house,
overlooking the crashing waves
of the Atlantic Ocean.
You can hear the waves hitting the house.
A pool of water covers the floor.
Are the ocean waters entering the house?
Are we in for more surprises?
What is that sound?
Creaking noises are coming from above.
Metal cages with pointy edges
are descending from above.
Circular saws soon follow,
searching for our heads.
What do we do now?
THE DEAD GAME has begun.
